Gays against Guns (GAG) invites you to a LGBTQ+ community gathering to brainstorm and coalesce around ideas that will lead to actions and impact, fighting the Trump administration, fighting repressive legislation, championing equal rights, working for gun violence prevention, for unity, community and more. the focus for this first meeting is on planning direct action on DC Pride Weekend (June 10-11), the National LGBT March on Washington (June 11), and the first anniversary of the Pulse nightclub shooting (June 12).
GAG writes “When we put our minds and resulting actions together as a community, we have the power to change our world. It’s time to do that locally and this meeting is a first step. Meet people that care about the same issues you do. Come up with ideas that can become actions and see them through. Meet new friends. Contribute!”
