In this fast-paced world of diversity where something as simple as breast tissue is shared in a multitude of genders and gender expressions, it has become apparent that how we educate ourselves about health and breast cancer prevention must also change. We’ve decided to throw the gender binary out the window and if you could ever be at risk for breast cancer (which is all of us), then you should join us for an informative presentation and get the most up-to-date information on how to protect yourself and those that you love from breast cancer.
This is not your usual breast cancer meeting! The DC Center and the George Washington University (GW) Cancer Center have partnered together to learn more about breast cancer among lesbian, bisexual and transgender women. Last year our LBT Breast Cancer Prevention & Awareness Event was a success. This year we are taking over the Women in their Twenties and Thirties meeting for a quick presentation on Breast Cancer.
Join us for a fabulous night! Masculine women, Feminine women, Trans women, Queer women, any type and any form are invited, welcome and wanted.
