Please join the National LGBTQ Task Force as we center the brilliance of Black and Brown leadership. This day-long event offers training on organizing skills, tools for self-care, race caucuses, and strategies for taking collective action steeped in racial justice!
This program aims to:
- explore the ways race and racism have shaped mobilizing and advocacy efforts in Washington DC
- learn from QTPOC organizers and coalition leaders about past and present liberation efforts
- celebrate how QTPOC movement building has endured through time and flourishes today
- build skills as white organizers to show up more effectively and confidently as co-conspirators and supporters of QTPOC-led work.
“People should come to Queering Racial Justice because we all have a responsibility to dismantle oppression wherever it shows up. Folks should come ready to listen always, share when necessary, and build relationships.” Lissete Miller, Morning Program Moderator
